Padanaram Village, in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts is a charming and picturesque community located on Aponagansett Harbor. This quiet, historic, waterfront village offers tree-lined streets and clapboard or natural shingle houses. It also boasts unique shops, a village store, art studios, a yacht club, as well as cafes and restaurants. Padanaram is a popular summer resort community and a pleasant sail from Cape Cod and the Elizabeth Islands. Nearby are sandy beaches on Buzzards Bay. Overland it is a mere 5 miles westward from the historic whaling city of New Bedford.
