Our Bedrooms are named after rivers as a reminder of the natural beauty and nautical heritage of this area.

Named for the nearby Slocum River.

Captain Joshua Slocum was the first person to sail single-handedly around the world. He set sail from Boston on April 24, 1895 and returned to Newport, Rhode Island on June 27, 1898 having circumnavigated the world and sailing 46,000 miles.

A private staircase leads to this comfortably furnished room with queen sized bed, AC and private bathroom with tub and shower.


 

 

 


Named for the association of our family with Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England. The famous Oxford - Cambridge boat race takes place on the River Thames where the river flows through the City of London. The world famous Henley Royal Regatta takes place on the River Thames at Henley. Many U.S. Colleges and Universities annually participate in this prestigious event.

This charming room also has its own staircase, queen sized bed, AC and private bathroom with shower.


 

 

 


Named for the nearby Westport River that flows into Buzzards Bay at Horseneck Beach. This room is furnished in shades of French Lavender with twin beds, AC and a delightful separate sitting area. It can be rented on its own with private bathroom, or as a suite with the Thames Room, sharing a bathroom.
